11:49am Friday 12th March 2010

MC WARE at Stokesley was established 12 years ago, and employs 14 staff as one of the oldest-established IT companies in the North-East.

It specialises in anti-spam work, arranging network installatiomns, disaster recoveries, telephone systems, marine installations, and Internet designs.

The firm is expanding to provide existing and new customers in the North Yorkshire/ Tees Valley areas with courses in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet Explorer, Outlook, and the Project and Sage Act.

The new training courses are aimed at businesses which want to help their staff to understand more about software available to them, or to their teams who may want to undertake refresher courses in order to learn more about how certain applications have developed recently.

Courses can be held on site at the premises of a business, or at the Middlesbrough Teaching and Learning Centre, Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough. Ongoing support will be available to all firms taking part in the courses.

The MC Ware managing director, Jonathan Wheatley, comments that many people are not making the most of their software.
